I got lots of feedback on my review of Troy. Most of my correspondents agree with me about the awfulness of the movie, but they then criticize my interpretation of the Iliad. This is therefore going to turn into my first---and if it bores everybody to tears, my last---literati-fellating adventure in the blogosphere.
