Yalie In The News

Two years ago, Thomas Frampton was a colleague of mine in a freshman humanities program called Directed Studies. Today, he was released on $50,000 bail after crazily attacking Dick Cheney. (Another hat tip to Jamie.) Best detail of all: beyond the 50 grand, he was forced to give back the RNC shirt that allowed him to pose as a volunteer and get close to the Vice President. Why couldn't they let him keep the shirt?

To review: we are about to enter the fifth consecutive presidential term with a Yalie in the White House; both presidential candidates went to Yale (and were tapped into Skull and Bones); the VP spent a year at Yale; the early leading contenders for the Democratic nomination went to Yale; and now even the crazy freak wierdo who attacks Dick Cheney is a Yalie. Suck on that, Harvard!
