Media Bias

I just now read the YDN's obituary for Derrida. Sarah Mishkin manages to reference Paul de Man twice without mentioning that de Man was a Nazi. She does relate Associate Dean Penelope Laurans' characterization of de Man as "a towering figure [at Yale]." That's really appalling.

UPDATE: Jamie Kirchick was onto this before me. I think he can be forgiven for biting the hand that feeds him---Mishkin's reporting is egregiously bad.
