The Bad News

I wrote a column on the murder of Theo van Gogh and its implications for the struggle against Islamo-fascism, that was supposed to run in the YDN today. Unfortunately, it got bumped (as did a piece by an official staff columnist) to make room for the YDN's congratulatory announcement of its new staff reporters. Why that should take up space on the opinion page is beyond me, but also out of my hands. So presumably the column will run in January, and I hope it'll still be topical.
