While No Fan Of The Pope...

I'm not sure that Enlightenment-era Protestant resentment of Catholics is the best grounds for expressing distaste for him.

On the other hand, Kingspawn is too easy on JPII. He was not better than his predecessors, because his predecessors include John XXIII.
