Electoral Vote Update
According to the latest Zogby poll, things are looking good: Kerry ahead in Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin; Bush ahead in Missouri, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
At electoral-vote.com, the current tally is Bush 264, Kerry 253, marking the first time in a while that Bush dipped below 270. Note also that electoral-vote.com is a running account of all credible pollsters. John Zogby, to his credit, is the gold standard of pollsters (as opposed to the fools' gold standard), having predicted the outcome of the 2000 election more accurately than any of his competitors. Moreover, Zogby had been hired by the Wall Street Journal, and therefore unlikely to be tilting his results to Kerry.
