Kerry Wouldn't Appoint Roger Taney Either

I realize I'm a bit late to the punch on this so I'll just summarize: Bush says in the debate that he wouldn't appoint the sort of Supreme Court justices who ruled against Dredd Scott. Everyone is confused. Apparently, "Dredd Scott" is code for "Roe v. Wade".

For a man whose favorite philosopher is Jesus, Bush sure knows how to make hay out of speaker's reference/semantic reference confusion.
