On the placard behind Mahmoud Ahmaghinejad (get it?) in his just-finished presser annoucning the release of the British hostages, there was a Persian motto I couldn't make out followed by this (apparent) English translation:
Cling together firmly by means of God's rope and do not separate.Now, what the fuck does that mean?

above the persian was also the original arabic in qur'anic script...it's from the qur'an.
doesn't it mean something like: "let's stick together"? or am i missing something
