The Perils Of Instapunditry Part II/New Regular Features Edition

Two announcements inspired by the last post. Glenn Reynolds wants bloggers in general and himself in particular to be taken seriously by the mainstream media. He's setting back the cause. He owes his readers an apology, a retraction, and a criticism of Malkin, not necessarily in that order. Something, anything, throw us a bone. So today will be the first day of the "Instapundit Watch," to be updated every day that Reynolds does nothing to rectify his endorsement of Malkin.

Next, in a shameless rip-off of Andrew Sullivan, I'm instituting this site's first award, the "Glenn Reynolds Credulity Award," to be given to commentators who are smart (important prerequisite) but who nevertheless legitimize crackpot theories by approaching them neutrally and non-critically.
