The YDN editorial board endorses Rebecca Livengood for Alderman. Look, the identity of the person sitting in that chair is not of enormous consequence, and of far less than, let us say, breaking up Tammany-on-the-Qunnipiack.
Or put it another way, as the YDN unintentionally does:

But let's please not confuse that metamorphosis with something to do with "responsible development," which is precisely what governing on behalf of the SEIU must not refer to.
